Kids Beginner Sewing - Thursdays
Welcome to the Catierre Sewing Academy Kids Beginner Sewing Class—where creativity meets confidence!
This beginner-friendly sewing program introduces children ages 7–13 to sewing in a structured, supportive, and inspiring environment. Students will learn sewing-machine safety, threading, basic stitches, seam allowances, fabric handling, and how to complete guided projects from start to finish.
Students will work on age-appropriate projects such as tote bags, pillows, simple garments, and creative accessories while developing patience, focus, problem-solving skills, and pride in their work.

No prior sewing experience is required. Class size is limited to 12 students to provide personalized instruction.
Class Schedule: Thursdays, 6:00–7:30 PM

| Instructor Bio: | Catandra Goodman is the founder of Catierre Designs and Catierre Sewing Academy, a Baltimore-based creative hub dedicated to sewing education, workforce development, and restoring apparel manufacturing within the community. She specializes in garment construction, alterations, custom design, and hands-on fashion education. Catandra is passionate about helping children and adults build practical sewing skills, creativity, confidence, and pride in what they create. |
